Microcurrent Point Stimulation: A Solution For Chronic Pain, Injury Healing, and More

Microcurrent Point Stimulation, or MPS, is a highly effective treatment for chronic pain. MPS is also used to increase healing rates, to help patients recover from injuries faster. One of the mechanisms of MPS is stimulation of the nervous system in the body, which helps decrease stress and release internal chemical signals to promote healing and pain reduction. We use MPS for chronic pain, injuries, and other conditions in our clinic, and are confident not only in the results we see every day, but the plethora of research that supports the incredible benefits of MPS.

For example, one study published by the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine examined a group of 51 chronic pain patients. The patients were given a test to gauge their pain level before and after treatment. The study showed that after just one treatment of MPS, the subjects had a 73% average decrease in pain. Another study published in the Journal of Medical Acupuncture showed that one treatment of MPS decreased pain by 63%, increased their ability to exercise by 22%, and increased nervous system regulation by 48%. Interestingly, cortisol, a hormone associated with chronic stress, decreased by 14%.

So what does an MPS treatment look like? It is fast, easy, and non-invasive. An MPS device often resembles a remote control. A professional then uses the fine tip on the device to send a current by touching the tip to acupuncture points throughout the body. These points allow the current to easily reach the internal tissues and then cause its healing benefits.
